SENIOR CITIZENS' FORUM

THE FORUM

 Senior Citizens' Forum is an NGO registered under Societies Registration Act 1860. The register number is 603/1996. It is affiliated to Indian Federation on Ageing.. The registered office is at Koothuparamba in Kannur district.

It has a State Committee. The present office bearers are ( 1) President Prof. N Gopinathan Pillai, (2) General Secretary Sri P Kumaran IDAS (Retd).

UNITS.  

 It has established unis throughout the state of Kerala. Accordingly, one unit has been formed  at a place called Koipra. At present, 41 members are there in the unit actively participating in various activites. The register number of the unit is 1685/17.

Koipra lies at 75* 34' 26" E and 12* 4' 31" N with an altitude of 27 m.. Koipra is well for the esteemed presence pf Sree Subrahmania Swamy temple and the greenery. The main cultivations are cashew, rubber, coconut, Areca, etc.
